Clean Water Laws Are Neglected, at a Cost in Suffering

Full NY Times story where you can find polluters by state or zip code. I am outraged, but not surprised.... What could be more important than the air we breathe and the water we drink?

What is the reason for having a regulatory agency like the EPA when they work for the polluters while we pay their salaries? How do we even begin to try to fix this broken system?
