We’re featuring architecture firm Kahler Slater as our  July 2017 Business Member Spotlight!

Kahler Slater joined our team as a Milwaukee Riverkeeper Business Member in Spring of 2017 and quickly signed up to become our very first Adopt-A-River Program participant! The team at Kahler Slater has since helped our staff sort thousands of gloves in advance of our 22nd Annual Spring River Cleanup and just completed their first cleanup at their recently adopted UWM-Park & Ride along the Milwaukee River! Their dedicated employees helped haul 150 lbs of trash from their adopted section and left our Milwaukee River in a cleaner and healthier state than when they arrived. Companies like Kahler Slater are vital to our work in connecting people to our local waterways and helping protect and restore rivers throughout the Milwaukee River Basin.

Thanks, Kahler Slater, for helping us make our three rivers swimmable and fishable for future generations!

“We are excited to be a partner to Milwaukee Riverkeeper! Our office is on the Milwaukee River and our staff is passionate about contributing to our community through this partnership. We encourage other organizations to join this important cause to help keep our rivers healthy and vital for our community.”
