4560563649_e4e9a3a762_m Join Milwaukee Riverkeeper, the Urban Ecology Center and Leinenkugel Brewing Company for the 4th annual Milwaukee Canoes for a Cause event on Saturday, August 15, 2015.  The cleanup will take place in the morning at the Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum adjacent to the Urban Ecology Center’s Riverside Park branch.  A cookout and refreshments will follow on-site.

Attendees will participate in trash cleanup, invasive plant species removal, and planting projects in the Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum.  The Arboretum combines Riverside Park and Milwaukee River frontage with reclaimed post-industrial land into a public green space, natural habitat and outdoor classroom, right in the heart of the city!

Parking is available around the Urban Ecology Center Riverside Park branch, and lunch and drinks will be served on-site after the cleanup. All participants must be 21 years or older. All participants will receive a t-shirt.

Please bring your photo ID, comfortable clothes to work in, a water bottle and work gloves (work gloves will also be provided).
