United Nations World Water Day Milwaukee
In other parts of the world, 5K is an average distance traveled to access water and bring it home. United Nations designates a day (March 22nd every year) world-wide to acknowledge this fact.
Take part in a 5K run/walk to bring awareness to the distance that must often be traveled for access to water. The theme is Water Cooperation and all walk participants will carry a bucket (with or without water).
