Organized by M/T River Committee and Sponsored By Milwaukee Riverkeeper
The Mequon-Thiensville River Committee is hosting a fall river cleanup, and this time they are out for the big and out of reach stuff! Volunteers will be cleaning up all the tires, barrels, flood debris, fishing line and anything else that is in the water or along the shores where it is not easily accessible by land.
Anyone willing to bring their boat and get it dirty should show up at Thiensville Village Park on the morning of the 12th to be assigned a stretch of river to search. This includes anything from pontoons to canoes because we hope to clean both above and below the dam.
All Volunteers Welcome – With or Without a Boat
Volunteers can all clean up trash at Villa Grove or Thiensville Parks
Be Sure to Bring a Pair of Water Shoes and Gloves
Extra Gloves and Trash Grabbers will be available at Thiensville Village Park
