Announcing Grant Opportunity!
Apply by November 1, 2015
Southeastern Wisconsin Watersheds Trust, Inc. (Sweet Water) has a Request for Proposals (RFP) available for its 2015 Water Quality Mini-Grant Program. We are offering grants between $1,000 to $5,000. The submission deadline is November 1, 2015 at midnight.
Whether it’s projects like rain barrel education and distribution, creating community or residential rain gardens, public park storm water retention improvements, new dog waste pick-up ideas, native planting/invasive plant removal, stream bank stabilization, fish passage barrier removal, or whatever creates better storm water retention, distribution, or quality – we hope this grant offer sparks your imagination and creativity and spurs you to apply.
The RFP and Application Form can be conveniently found on our website at www.swwtwater.org/mini-grant. You can even get a look at the Evaluation Form the judges will be using there, as well as having an FAQ section at your disposal.
Please take advantage of this mini-grant offer, and/or pass it along to any non-profit, church group, community or civic organization you know that might share Sweet Water’s goal of reduced and cleaner storm water in southeastern Wisconsin.
Thanks in advance for wanting to be part of the solution toward water quality improvement with the spirit of community involvement in your neighborhood, community, town or city, and region.
