Let’s talk PFAS: Is it in your water?

Hey West Bend, Grafton and Saukville Neighbors! Milwaukee Riverkeeper is coming to town to share
more about the harmful “forever chemicals” known as PFAS (or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances),
lurking in wells and drinking water supplies. Our Riverkeeper, Cheryl Nenn, has been following this issue
since it was first discovered in the Milwaukee River Basin. We’ll dive into the topic and discuss findings
in surface water samples from the waterways in YOUR backyard. We’ll also discuss the new standards
set for drinking water levels in Wisconsin, and how you can help ensure our agencies and electeds
protect our precious rivers and your drinking water supply.
