Our June 2017 Business Member Spotlight is Xylem & Xylem Watermark!
From May through October, Milwaukee Riverkeeper uses the Xylem products YSI 550A and Pro20 Dissolved Oxygen Sensors. Volunteer water monitors and staff use these sensors to measure dissolved oxygen levels, a critical component to the health of aquatic ecosystems, at dozens of stations. We rely on the sensors dependability and accuracy to report on the health of the Milwaukee River Basin.
Thank you, Xylem, for helping us monitor the health of our three rivers!
“Xylem, Inc. and its employees are committed to causes related to ensuring that clean and safe water are available for everyone around the globe. This starts with efforts in local communities and continues globally through Xylem’s Watermark program. Our employees volunteer their time to help educate people and improve the environment by working with partners in their local communities on projects that promote the sustainable use of water. Milwaukee Riverkeeper’s Spring River Cleanup is a project that does just that by helping to ensure that our water ways in the Milwaukee area are preserved for future generations. We are proud to have been able to participate in this important cleanup effort.”
