SWAN: Great Lakes Cruise & Lunch
DATE
Wednesday, September 26,2018
TIME
9:00am – 3:30pm
Join the Senior Water Advocacy Network (SWAN) for a fun and exciting time on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences’ The Neeskay, its primary research vessel. This boat has operated as a research vessel since 1970. It provides year-round access to the Great Lakes and has a fully functional platform and floating laboratory.
As part of the day, there will be a tour of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences (SFS) and presentations by SFS researchers and Milwaukee Riverkeeper Freshwater Biologist Zac Driscoll about the issues impacting the Great Lakes.
What’s the Senior Water Advocacy Network?
