Thank You for Protecting What You Love!
Thank you to our supporters, sponsors, and volunteers for showing up to protect what you love – our rivers!
For 30 years, friends and neighbors have been coming together to protect the rivers and communities we all love. The tradition continued this weekend when over 4,000 volunteers came out for our 30th Annual Spring Cleanup to prevent trash from polluting our precious waterways, endangering wildlife and threatening the drinking water source for millions.
Trash is just one of the many threats we tackle every day at Milwaukee Riverkeeper. We dive deeper – monitoring our waters, responding to pollution reports, increasing access to our waterways through education and recreation opportunities and fighting for clean water regulations.
Despite the growing number of funding and legislative challenges we are facing in the current climate, we will continue to carry out our work, but we cannot do it without your support.
Thank you for your passion and partnership and for being part of the movement to help our community work towards swimmable, fishable rivers. Be sure to check out our brand new website and explore even more ways to get involved.
Join us for another cleanup, hop aboard a kayak or grab your fishing pole and we’ll see you on the river!
