Enjoy the Milwaukee River at its most colorful on this guided Fall Foliage paddle with our friends at Forward Outdoor. As the leaves turn, you’ll paddle a scenic stretch of river surrounded by vibrant autumn colors while learning about the seasonal changes happening in and around the river.

Led by a knowledgeable Milwaukee Riverkeeper naturalist, this relaxed, beginner-friendly outing highlights the beauty of the river corridor, with opportunities to spot wildlife and take in the crisp fall air.

This is a perfect opportunity to explore seasonal changes in a new way and experience the beauty of fall foliage from a completely different perspective. See you on the water!

Date:

October 16th, 2026

Time:

2:50 PM – Arrive at Badger Meter River Park (10 minutes early)

3:00 PM – Check-in, intro, and shuttle upriver

3:15 PM – Safety briefing + mussel survey overview

3:30 PM – Launch and begin guided paddle

During Paddle – Learn about local plants, wildlife, and river ecology

~5:30 PM – Return to Badger Meter River Park and wrap up

Beginner-friendly pace with a mix of paddling and hands-on learning.
