Let’s Restore: Menomonee River Parkway Tree Planting
Description:
Let’s restore Menomonee River Parkway! Volunteers will meet near Menomonee River Pkwy & Concordia Ave, north of Burleigh. Street parking is available on Menomonee River Parkway. Wear sturdy, close-toed shoes and clothes you can work in. Long-sleeved shirts and long pants are encouraged. We recommend bringing sunscreen and bug spray.
Spend your morning outdoors making a meaningful impact—planting native trees, shrubs and plants, connecting with neighbors, and enjoying the fresh air. Whether you’re coming on your own, with friends or family, every pair of hands helps.
Milwaukee Riverkeeper will provide work gloves and shovels.
If you have trouble finding the group call or text the team lead, Leah, at 414-287-0209.
